The Prince George Native Friendship Centre (PGNFC) has grown and continues to be one of the largest and busiest community service delivery agencies in Prince George. Our clientele of Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal peoples have supported the Centre's program offerings for the last 49 years. The PGNFC provides culturally appropriate programming to meet the community's unique and diverse needs. We offer a wide variety of services, which includes educational, employment, health, and social programs.

 Infant Toddler Early Childhood Educator

Full-Time Permanent

As a member of the Early Childhood Services team, you will development and delivery of age appropriate children's programming and support the early childhood development of Aboriginal children and to instill pride in their Aboriginal heritage.

You are caring team member with strong communication skills and a clear understanding of inclusive child care. You have the ability to develop a warm, caring, respectful and responsive relationship with children and their parents as well as the staff and community. You are culturally sensitive and have knowledge of Aboriginal culture and history, as well as an understanding of anti-bias issues.

You have a valid BC ECE Infant and Toddler and a proven ability to work professionally in a child care setting and connect positively within a child centred environment. A criminal record check and medical clearance is required, and you must hold a valid child specific First Aid / CPR or equivalent. You have a Class 5 Driver's License, and have reliable transportation to and from the child care facilities.
