The Prince George Native Friendship Centre (PGNFC) has grown and continues to be one of the largest and busiest community service delivery agencies in Prince George. Our clientele of Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal peoples have supported the Centre's program offerings for the last 49 years. The PGNFC provides culturally appropriate programming to meet the community's unique and diverse needs. We offer a wide variety of services, which includes educational, employment, health, and social programs.

 Front-Line Support Worker

(Full Time/Graveyard Shift)


Do you have at least 2-years post-secondary education in a related field, or combination of education and experience working with adults who are experiencing homelessness.   Have First Aid, Suicide Intervention and TCI (or willing to obtain). Have the ability to work with men who are disadvantaged and who are from diverse backgrounds.


Along with the willingness and ability to work with men who are experiencing homeless, mental health and or/addictions issues. Awareness of community services, resources, and systems; Experience in working with Indigenous groups/communities in a cultural context. Providing conflict resolution support and crisis management; supporting and advocating for client centered issues.


Qualifications include:

  • Class 4 Driver's License (or willingness to obtain); and
  • Ability to undergo a successful criminal record search.
